Hi, I’m Gabriela

I was born in Chile, but when I met the love of my life (Austrian), after a long-distance relationship of two years, I decided to move to Vienna.

There began my journey as an expat; I had a hard time learning the language, finding a job and new friends; and had to deal with the pain of losing my beloved independence.

That is why I know so well what you are going through; I lived all the phases of the process of adaptation to a new country.

You would thing, being a psychologist and a coach, I should have been able to support myself, right? On the contrary, imagine havine all the tools and not being able to apply them to my own life!

One day I hit rock bottom, saw my relationship and my professional life in danger, and said enough is enough! So I sought help from an online psychologist.

After working with her and improving my situation, along with my academic and practical knowledge of more than 18 years in my career, I developed this program that I want to present to you.

In this phase, we’ll know which tools you have, which of them work and which don’t.

We will have new strategies and set goals that will motivate you, give you purpose and a sense of direction.

This way, you will take charge of your expat life, tailor it to your needs, and shine as you deserve.

While all three steps are necessary and guide the program, the process can and will be adjusted to your needs. The times are not standardized; perhaps with you we take longer in the first step and with another client in the second step, but that’s irrelevant: the important thing is that we will reach together the goal you want, and we will take the time you need to go through each stage.

You probably spend your money on traveling, in restaurants, on courses and fashion. That gives you a short-term sense of well-being, but after a little while, you feel demoralized again.

What is the payment method?

You can pay via Paypal, and if you have a European bank account, by bank transfer.

What happens if I cannot attend a session?

Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. If this period passes and there is no justified reason, the session will be considered as attended.

How does the online format work?

This type of session is held with the same structure as a face-to-face consultation. The only difference is that it is done via video conference, using a platform that protects privacy and security.

Do they have the same effect and results as a face-to-face consultation?

Yes, the outcome is the same. I understand your doubts since it is something new; I had those concerns at the beginning too. I can confirm that the results are the same, not only because I see it in my clients, but also because I experienced the benefits of online sessions. The psychologist/coach-consultant relationship is not damaged whatsoever.

Is this program for me?

If:

Can I work with a psychologist/coach who lives in a different place?

Absolutely. Don’t let the location affect your decision to find the right mental health professional. I welcome clients from all over the world, as long as they are fluent in Spanish, English or German.

The sessions are held via video conference, which gives us flexibility concerning time zones and geographical locations.

Do you work with all kinds of problems?

Although I am trained and have more than 15 years of experience as a therapist, my offer is psychological support combined with coaching strategies. It is not a long-term therapy, and some issues do require face-to-face treatment and more time. However, if you are in doubt as to whether your situation is suitable for this process, we can have a 30-minute session in which we will decide whether I can support you.
