Online Counseling for Expat Women.

I’m Gabriela Encina, Licensed Psychologist and Expat.

I’ve been living abroad for over ten years, and since 2013 I support expat women from all over the world to learn how to live the international life they want and deserve.

That means, acquire tools and find their inner resources to:

-improve the relationship with themselves and with the ones they love

-regulate their emotions

-make the best and wise decisions for their lives

-prioritize themselves.

How?

Through Online Counseling. Since 2018 I provide online counseling and work with women in different continents, different timezones, different backgrounds.

My online counseling is:

– practical

– solution-oriented

– focused on the present

I work mainly with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy),  ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Coaching Strategies and a Humanistic-Holistic approach.

Who are my clients?

Driven, intelligent, skilled and mental health aware international women who are dealing with some challenges that are triggered or exacerbated by their life abroad.

Some examples:

– diminished self-confidence and self-esteem

– trouble setting boundaries

– multicultural relationships conflicts

– family misunderstandings

– loneliness

– anxiety

– burn out

My Online Counseling approach.

online coaching for expat women

I work with a framework I’ve developed and improved throughout my over eight years of experience providing counseling for expat women.

3 Steps.

Identify:

What are you feeling?

When? Why?

In the first stage, we will work together on your self-knowledge and your current situation.

We will look into your values, purpose, and priorities, as from there, you will be able to make the choices you need to get closer to where you want to be.

Without a solid foundation, how could you make the right decisions?

Connect:

Once you discover your foundations, we will put the focus on your emotions and thoughts for you to connect with them.

This connection will help you understand difficult emotions and challenge not useful and damaging thoughts to know what you really want and what is best for you and your life abroad.

This will give us the information we need to put together a strategy and action plan, which will stand on a solid foundation so that the changes you make are sustainable over time.

Move forward:

It’s time to take action!

In this phase, we’ll know which tools you have, which of them work and which don’t.

We will have new strategies and set goals that will motivate you, give you purpose and a sense of direction.

This way, you will take charge of your expat life, tailor it to your needs, and shine as you deserve.
